Cheese Garlic Bread Recipe
Take a mixing bowl and mix melted butter, garlic, chili flakes, and oregano in it and keep it aside.
In a different bowl, mix refined sugar and yeast with lukewarm water. Keep it aside until yeast froths.
In a mixing bowl, take flour, salt, oil, and yeast solution. Start kneading the dough by adding water to it.
Initially, the dough will be sticky. Take this dough out on a lightly floured surface and keep kneading for 10 minutes. You will get a soft, smooth and non-sticky dough. Now place this dough into a greased bowl and cover it with cling wrap. Let it rest until it doubles in volume.
Once dough doubles in volume, take it out on a floured surface and punch it to release the air.
Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll the dough into a sheet of approx. ½” thickness.
Spread the prepared stuffing evenly.
Flip from one side to make a semi-circle. Now brush it with butter and sprinkle seasoning on it.
Transfer it to a greased pan and cut it into sticks.

Hello di..
Your recipies are really awesome.i tried many recipie and it came out perfect…but my garlic bread gets little bit hard although proofing was done right .dough was soft. Can you tell me the reason.?

Do I need to cover it with aluminium foil while baking?

Anu, little over baking or less hydration or under-proofing, anything can make the bread crust hard.

Hello ma’am,
I tried ur recipe today adter gathering lot of courage for the fear of failure..but to an extent succeeded in making it.
I hd doubts as to third step asked for oil whereas its nt mentioned in the list of ingredients. Somehow managed to pull it off. I did a misake of not dividing the dough into two parts but baked the whole dough into a single bread thats y i guess the breaf went a little dry…or can u put light into this..
Secondly the garlic bread didnt give a good colour its was just baked completely with no color…But thankfully the taste was good…
Finally thanks to u i gave a try to breads..looking forward to try your ladipav recipe in tbis quarantine period..
THANKS A LOT MA’AM..

Sonia
Thanks Sonia..my doubt because of step 3 in d recipe
Completely understood. Hope your doubt is clear. If not, feel free to ask question.
Approximately in how much time dough gets double
Hello Pooja,
Proofing / rising process is completely dependent on the weather conditions. Warmer the weather, faster the dough will rise.
