In a bowl, mix sugar, and yeast with lukewarm water. Keep it aside until yeast froths.
In a mixing bowl, take flour, salt, oil, and yeast solution. Start kneading the dough by adding water to it.
Initially, the dough will be sticky. Take this dough out on a lightly floured surface and keep kneading for 10 minutes. You will get a soft, smooth and non-sticky dough. Now place this dough into a greased bowl and cover it with cling wrap. Let it rest until it doubles in volume.
Once dough doubles in volume, take it out on a floured surface and punch it to release the air.
Roll the punched dough into a sheet of approx. ½” thickness.
Spread the prepared stuffing evenly.
Spread the Pizza sauce and grated cheese evenly on the sheet.
Now carefully and with soft hands start rolling the sheet into a cylindrical shape.
Once the roll is ready with a steady hand, cut the roll into small pieces of 1” in size. Remember not to apply too much pressure on the dough roll, otherwise, the shape of the cutouts will not look good.
Place these cut pieces into a greased pan by leaving some gap in between.
Cover the pan and keep it for a second proofing till the piece doubles in the volume. It will take approx. 30-40 minutes.
Preheat the oven at 200 °C for 10 min.
Place the pan into the oven and bake it for 20 min at 200 °C.
After 20 minutes the mouth-watering bread is ready. It’s time to serve the cheese Pizza rolls.
