How to make Easy Vegan Banana Bread with wheat

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs Over Ripe Banana Use Large Banana's
  • 1.5 cup Whole Wheat Flour (200 gm)
  • 1/2 cup Oil (120 ml)
  • 1/2 cup Organic Sugar (100 gm)
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 tbs Sunflower Seeds (optional) You can use other seeds as well
  • 2 tbs Chopped Walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mash bananas and make a puree.
  • Add sugar and mix it well.
  • Add ½ cup oil. I have used rice bran oil in this recipe. Mix it.
  • Add Cinnamon powder, Nutmeg powder and Vanilla essence to the mixture and stir it.
  • In a different bowl sift whole wheat flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Now add dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Fold gently.
  • Make a thick batter. Don’t over-mix the batter.
  • Add sunflower seeds in the batter and mix it.
  • Take a loaf tin. Place a parchment paper in it. Pour the batter into it and with the help of spatula, level it. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on it.
  • Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 30 minutes.
  • Once done, take the bread out of the oven and de-mould it.
  • Now slice and serve Healthy Vegan Whole Wheat Banana Bread.

Notes

Use over ripe bananas for the recipe
Instead of using Organic white sugar, you can also use organic brown sugar. This will enhance the color of the bread
Preheating is very important. Always preheat your oven at 180 degree Celsius at least for 10 minutes
For baking the bread, keep the tray on middle rack
